Cassidy Johnston is a licensed insurance adjuster and roofing specialist with over 20 years of experience in residential construction and storm restoration. As Owner and Operator of Best Choice Storm Restoration, Cassidy brings a rare blend of hands-on trade experience and insurance expertise, guiding homeowners through the restoration process with clarity, confidence, and integrity.
Cassidy’s construction background is rooted in hands-on ownership and field work. As the owner and operator of a flooring company, Cassidy gained extensive experience managing projects while working directly in the field. That experience expanded into wiring homes, performing survey work, and completing all aspects of residential construction — including framing, roofing, exterior systems, interior finishes, and remodeling.
As a licensed adjuster, Cassidy understands insurance policies and claims procedures from the inside, allowing them to serve as both contractor and homeowner advocate. Cassidy remains closely involved in every project, from inspection and scope development through production oversight and final walkthrough, ensuring quality, accountability, and clear communication.

Dakota Tinney is an Owner & Operator and second-generation roofer with more than a decade of experience in storm restoration and residential construction. Dakota brings a hands-on, execution-focused approach rooted in craftsmanship, accountability, and respect for the homeowner.
Dakota’s path into the roofing and restoration industry began early, shaped by exposure to the trade and the values behind it — pride in workmanship, integrity, and personal responsibility. He has spent over 11 years working across every phase of the restoration process, including inspections, insurance claims, estimating, production oversight, and customer communication.
As an Owner & Operator, Dakota remains actively involved in day-to-day operations and project execution. He works closely with crews, partners, and homeowners to ensure quality standards are upheld and expectations are clearly managed from start to finish. His focus extends beyond roofing alone to the full exterior system of the home.
